Even though a confirmed news on Samsung Galaxy S4 specs or release date is yet to come, a couple of potential images have surfaced on the Internet allegedly taken from two different variants of the upcoming Galaxy S4 (Korean and AT&T).
Taking a detailed look at the EXIF data of the images, it can be observed that the photos were clicked by the AT&T Galaxy S4 (SGH-I337) and the Korean Galaxy S4 (SHV-E300S), Sam Mobile reports. The image leak was first reported by the HDBlog.it which said the smartphone seems to be ready for a public presentation as speculated in various other rumors lately.
The images from South Korean variants of the device have been uploaded yesterday on Google+ and the AT&T variant images were uploaded today. The EXIF data do indicate that the images were not taken at the maximum resolution.
One of the images features a Korean calendar on the desk and another one shows a keyboard with Korean characters suggesting that these images may possibly be taken from Samsung headquarters. However, the EXIF data is not always trustworthy as it can be manipulated easily.
According to recent rumors, the device is pitted for a March 15 release in European markets and the smartphone will reach the U.S. sometimes in May or June. "We have some hot news for all those happy Samsung Galaxy owners. Samsung is going to announce the Galaxy S IV on March 15th. The biggest Android smartphone unpacked event is still not confirmed by Samsung self, but our trusted insider confirmed it to SamMobile," the report said. It was also speculated earlier that the device will see an official launch in April.
Samsung Galaxy S4 is speculated to feature an Exynos 5 Octa (8-Core) CPU while a few other reports indicated the device may possibly come with an Exynos 5450 quad-core processor. Other specs include a Super AMOLED Full HD resolution display, 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel rear-facing and a 2 megapixel front-facing cameras and the smartphone will run on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.
