The rumored Nokia Catwalk Windows Phone 8-based device is on the prowl, and had apparently sneaked its way into the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC), where a lucky few had the chance to look at the device behind closed doors.
Russian blogger, Eldar Murtazin who is known for his huge amount of hit-and-miss rumors, stated in a blog post that he was one of the few who were chosen to play with the Nokia Lumia Catwalk. He said Nokia is gearing up the device to be an enhancement of the Lumia 920 and not a spiritual successor as many might have thought.
Furthermore, Murtazin, a man who is also known for his love for Android, stated that attendees were disappointed Nokia chose to put Windows Phone on the Catwalk instead of Android. However, that doesn't seem to make much sense, as everyone should know by now what type of smartphone operating system the Catwalk would feature, so where is this so-called disappointment coming from?
About the hardware and specs:
The device is housed in a slimmer more easy to hold aluminum body, the PureView camera at the back has also been slimmed down, and the overall specs should be similar to that of the Lumia 920. We're certain Nokia will consider changing some of the innards of the Catwalk, however, these changes might not be too apparent as to keep the device as similar to the Lumia 920 as possible.
Pretty solid device, now all we want to see after this is a Lumia handset with that 41 megapixel PureView sensor.
