BlackBerry is currently on a high with the introduction of the Z10, but that's not all the company has to offer to its fans and potential buyers.
Per reports, a brand new rumor surfacing on the Web states that the other highly anticipated smartphone from BlackBerry called BlackBerry Q10 is set to arrive in May and will be first available in the U.S. via T-Mobile.
While the BlackBerry Z10 is easily a nice introduction to the BlackBerry 10 universe, the Q10 will have its own preference among those old BB fans who are more prone to the device arriving with a hardware keyboard.
Although the international retail launch of the BlackBerry Q10 is said to occur sometime in April, the U.S. release of the smartphone will not be happening until another eight to ten weeks after it hits stores abroad and that could place its availability out as far as June.
However, the new report that has only recently arrived states that the date set for the arrival of the Q10 could be a bit early in May and that the device will first come to U.S.-based carrier T-Mobile.
The information was revealed by N4BB who reported talking to T-Mobile representatives at a BlackBerry Experience Forum 2013 event, where they were told about plans for the Q10 this May.
"After reading Mr. Walkley's comments yesterday, I once again find myself baffled by his erroneous reports. He claims that T-Mobile will only carry the Z10 and Sprint only the Q10. While Sprint will only carry the QWERTY BlackBerry10 device, (you can blame Apple for that) the further could be true for T-Mobile," N4BB states.
"Yesterday at #BEF13 we spoke with company reps who told us that indeed the magenta carrier is planning to offer the Q10 sometime in May."
As of now, it can't be said for sure as to how authentic this new report is, however, there is at least now some hope for many BlackBerry fans looking ahead to the Q10.
Moreover, with some leaked T-Mobile roadmaps in the future, it might not be that long before some kind of an official statement (if not the device getting announced) arrives from the company.
