There's good news for all who are still looking forward to owning a Samsung Galaxy S3.
eBay is now selling the factory-unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 for a reduced amount of $470 with no charges for shipping, according to reports.

This sounds like a good and practical deal but is not surprising, owing to the fact that the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S4 is coming soon and vendors who bought massive numbers of the Galaxy S3 will need to clear them out and make some room for the newest Android offering from Samsung.
This is usually achieved by lowering the price of the current handset, and eBay is doing just that to sell off all the remaining stock of the Samsung Galaxy S3 within the next few weeks before the new shipments start arriving. Moreover, the fact that the device has been factory unlocked makes the deal even better, without any kind of carrier deal attached to it.
The device up for sale is an international version and is available in a wide range of colors like Garnet Red, Marble White, Pebble Blue, Sapphire Black, Titanium Gray and brown, and it works anywhere in the world.
As far as factory unlocking is concerned, there are ways to check it. One such way is when the user is powering on the phone with a different network SIM card and it`s not asking for a network code: then it`s unlocked, and it doesn`t matter if it was unlocked by a factory code or a network code.
Also, users can check to see if their device has been factory unlocked when they switch on their mobile phones with a SIM card from a network other than their own. If the user is able to use the phone, he or she can be sure that the phone is not locked.
However, if the phone displays an error message saying "Wrong sim" or "Incorrect sim" or "Emergency calls only", then the phone is probably locked.
