Apple with the release of latest version of its mobile operating system, iOS 6.1.3, has patched the untethered jailbreak evasi0n that served the iPhones, iPads, iPods running on iOS 6-6.1.2.
The users of iDevices were really worried about losing their jailbreak as the iOS 6.1.3 update was non-degradable and brought a crucial fix for the passcode or lockscreen bug the devices were experiencing.
However, when we talk about jailbreak, there is always some good news following a bad one.
Joshua Hill alias P0sixninja, the crucial ex-member of Chronic Dev Team, has once again showed up in the jailbreaking talks and expressed his confidence in finding the next major untethered jailbreak.
P0sixninja was missing in the jailbreak operations after he left the Chronic Dev Team, but now he claims to have found some exploit in the recently launched iOS 6.1.3.
"Well, so far it looks like the next jailbreak might be created entirely by me," he tweeted on Thursday. Just an hour after this tweet, P0sixninja went ahead divulging little more information about his findings saying, "Evad3rs haven't gone anywhere, I've just discovered all the needed exploits on my own over the past few months."
With this tweet, P0sixninja has also given hopes to many people who were completely clueless about whether to go ahead with the recently launched iOS 6.1.3 or not.
The recent development also shows that there is some rift between the Evad3rs team member Pod2g and P0sininja regarding the jailbreak of iOS 6.1.3.
When a Twitter user asked Pod2g about P0sixninja's claim, "Just wondering if he's trying to gain attention like our lovely and respectable friend," Pod2g replied, "I don't know, it's a been a few weeks I am not into jailbreaking. But if he says it, it's certainly true (?)."
The question raised over P0sixninja's credibility in Pod2g's comment did irk the former and P0sixninja replied on Twitter swiftly, "I've been trying to contact you about them for awhile but I guess you've been busy. oh well you can't avoid me at #HITB2013AMS."
The prominent hacker thinks that he can come back to the real jailbreak operations once again with the success he is going to obtain from the untethered jailbreak of iOS 6.1.3. If the iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak doesn't bring him in lime light then he will be relying on iOS 7 definitely.
