The new HTC One flagship smartphone will arrive in the U.S. soon, and AT&T subscribers will be able to enjoy a neat exclusive.
The carrier will apparently offer a 64GB model of the HTC One when the device reaches the U.S. In its promotional video for the handset, AT&T reveals it will exclusively carry the 64GB version. This means that consumers on other major carriers such as T-Mobile will only get access to the 32GB version of the HTC One. For many, however, that shouldn't be much of a deal breaker.
AT&T will not only offer the 64GB version of the HTC One, but will also have two color options available for the smartphone: Glacier Silver and Stealth Black. The carrier further showed off two accessories it will offer along with the HTC One.
The first accessory AT&T has to offer is the HTC Double Flip Case, which works just like the Samsung Galaxy Flip Cover and also serves as a stand for hands-free viewing. The second accessory bundled with the HTC One is the Mophie Juice Pack, which doubles as both a case and an extended battery pack.
HTC's Blinkfeed and the HTC Zoe, meanwhile, grab the spotlight in AT&T's new video. The carrier touts Blinkfeed's simple and stylish interface, which allows users to get all of their news stories, social networking updates and apps in a single timeline. AT&T further touts HTC Zoe, a neat new "ultrapixel" feature that offers users a whole new smartphone camera experience. HTC Zoe takes 20 consecutive pictures while also recording a three-second HD video to create a short, expressive and easily sharable story.
The new HTC One flagship smartphone is scheduled to make its U.S. debut by the end of April. While the handset already launched in other parts of the world, the U.S. saw a delay because manufacturing of the phone faced some supply shortages, as manufacturers seem to no longer treat HTC as a top-tier client.
Samsung recently unveiled its own 2013 flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S4, but plenty of consumers seem drawn to the HTC One handset nonetheless. However, the fact that HTC continues its romance with AT&T and offers an exclusive may not please everybody, and the 32GB model should be enough for most users.
