The iPhone 5 is finally available on T-Mobile network and the carrier looks really happy with the way iPhone 5's sell boosted its performance on the first day.
iPhone 5's arrival has really strengthened the sales figures of T-Mobile and it is believed that the success story will have a longer life. Confirming the first day's success, T-Mobile's Chief Marketing Officer, Mike Sievert told AllThingsD, "Today has been gangbusters for T-Mobile. We experienced lines out the door this morning at nearly all of our almost 3,000 stores nationwide."
The chief marketing officer of T-Mobile is happy for obvious reasons, but the customers who are going to buy the iPhone 5 with T-Mobile are going to be happier because of some other reasons.
According to a report by International Design Times, the iPhone 5 T-Mobile is offering is jailbreak ready and can be jailbroken with the help of evasi0n untethered jailbreak.
The jailbreak can be possible on T-Mobile's iPhone 5 as the smartphone will come stock with iOS 6 installed. The option of updated to iOS 6.1 will be optional for the users.
The good news is not only for people who are going to buy the iPhone 5 from T-Mobile, people who are willing to buy iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 will also be so happy as these devices are also evasi0n jailbreak ready.
However, if you are buying an iPhone from T-Mobile and later wish to update your device's software, confirm the iOS version before you go ahead with updating it.
Apple released three versions of iOS 6 after the launch of the main version but one of the three version can bring your iPhone to a situation from which going back to a jailbreak looks impossible as of now.
Apple released iOS 6.1.1, 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 updates for the iOS 6. iOS 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 versions can be jailbroken with the help of evasi0n tool but once your device is on iOS 6.1.3 then it won't be able to enjoy the jailbreak and more over the device will become non-degradable.
Recently, one of the key members of the team Evad3rs, Pod2G tweeted that he will not be working on iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak as it is not ok to work on smaller things like this. He also hinted that he will be more interested and committed to work on an iOS 7 jailbreak once it is released.
"We are not working on a 6.1.3 jailbreak, that would be too much efforts for a minimal update. We're waiting for a major release," Pod2G had tweeted earlier.
The discussion about the possible iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak started with one of the members of the Chronic Dev Team, Joshua Hill aka P0sixninja declared that he has found some crucial exploits in the iOS 6.1.3.
"Evad3rs haven't gone anywhere, I've just discovered all the needed exploits on my own over the past few months," P0sixninja tweeted some weeks ago.
