There has been a long series of rumors related to HTC One smartphone's smaller sibling codenamed HTC M4. And now, the rumored device is being spotted at some places, which confirm the existence of the device.

HTC M4 aka. HTC One Mini was spotted at the Bluetooth Special Interest Group on June 7 and many tech enthusiasts were of the view that the device will be announced soon as its bigger sibling was announced just a day after it entered the Bluetooth SIG. And now a Live Mint report suggests that the competitor of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is going to arrive this summer.

The report is said to be getting the updates about the arrival of HTC One Mini from two sources that are familiar with the HTC One Mini plans.

The sources also said that the smartphone is going to sport a 4.3 inch screen and will go on sale by August this year. Earlier reports had suggested that the Mini version will come with a 4.3 inch 720 pixel display.

With the release of HTC One Mini, the Taiwanese smartphone maker would target two big smarthone makers - Apple and Samsung. Samsung has already released the smaller version of its Galaxy S4 whereas Apple is expected to launch a low-cost iPhone in the fourth quarter this year.

HTC saw record low-profit in the first quarter due to issues related to supply chain and marketing. After the launch of HTC One in February this year, HTC was anticipating a recovery but supply related delays forced the Taiwanese company to witness its lowest quarterly profit in the first quarter this year.

HTC One Mini is rumored to be coming with Qualcomm's dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor that will be supported by 2GB of RAM. The biggest rumor about this Mini device is that it is going to come with a 4.3 UltraPixel camera that we have already seen in the HTC One. HTC One Mini will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and will be layered with HTC's Sense 5.0 user interface.
