HTC One Mini, codenamed M4, has been in rumors for a long time, and the latest rumors are now hinting at the release date of the smaller sibling of HTC One.
According to a report by Phone Arena, the HTC One Mini is going to hit the shelves of German carrier O2 by August 3. The report doesn't say anything about the pricing and specification of the HTC One Mini. HTC is reportedly expecting a lot from the HTC One Mini as the company is trying to bring its lost market position back to normal by luring new customers by the miniature device.
The pricing of the device has not been disclosed by either the company or any leakster, but we assume that the price of HTC One Mini will be less than the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini that is going to be released sometime next month.
The HTC One Mini is expected to be heading to AT&T and T-Mobile networks. The device is rumored to be coming with Qualcomm's dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor that will be supported by 2GB of RAM. The Mini device is also rumored to be sporting a 4.3 UltraPixel camera that we have already seen in the HTC One. The HTC One Mini is expected to run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and will be layered with HTC's Sense 5.0 user interface.
Earlier this month, a Bloomberg report claimed HTC One Mini could arrive as early as this summer, citing two sources that are familiar with the HTC's plans. The sources said that the smartphone is going to sport a 4.3 inch screen and will go on sale by August this year.
