An unannounced device codenamed LG-F320 just showed up on the AnTuTu Benchmark test, boasting the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor on board.
With the rumor mill always so busy churning at full speed, unannounced devices that leak online one way or another is somewhat ordinary now. When new devices actually launch they appear more like a confirmation than a big surprise, as rumors ahead of the big launch usually paint a pretty clear picture of what to expect.
This is also the case with the LG-F320 which, although not official, flaunts its Snapdragon 800 processor already in AnTuTu Benchmark tests. Spotted by GSM Insider, the LG-F320 apparently underwent some testing in LG's home country of South Korea. The processor was clocked to an impressive 2.3GHz, signaling good things to come.
It remains unclear whether this device with the codename LG-F320 is the next-generation LG Optimus G or the next-generation Google Nexus phone. LG already announced that its Optimus G successor will pack the Snapdragon 800 processor, so there's a good chance that this is it. On the other hand, the Nexus 5 possibility isn't too farfetched either.
Regardless of whether the LG-F320 will turn out to be the next-generation Optimus G or the Nexus 5, the AnTuTu benchmark reportedly shows an impressive score of 32,002, which means the device will be one powerful beast.
For the sake of comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S4 with Snapdragon 800 on board scored 31,491, and we already know that's a powerful smartphone. Other than this benchmark, however, the purported LG-F320 is pretty scarce on details.
No other information is currently available regarding the specs and features of this upcoming device and even the Android version remains a mystery for now. With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 under the hood, however, chances are the smartphone will run on the latest version of Android.
Keep in mind, however, that leaks and rumors always precede the launch of a device, but they don't always prove to be accurate. This means that until LG makes it official, the LG F-320 remains in the rumor state and it would be best to take things with a grain of salt.
