The only place to get the Verizon 32GB Samsung Galaxy S4 until now was Verizon, but WireFly just became the only other retailer to offer this model.

While at first Verizon decided to carry only the 16GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S4, AT&T jumped the gun and started offering the higher-capacity 32GB version and Big Red could not stay behind.

Verizon also started offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 in a 32GB storage configuration for $300 on a two-year contract, which was $50 more expensive than the same model on AT&T. In addition, while the 16GB version of the smartphone on Verizon was available from other retailers as well, the 32GB one was only available from the carrier itself.

Verizon recently decided to slash the price tag of the 32GB Galaxy S4 to $250, bringing it in line with AT&T's pricing for its respective model. The price cut made the higher-capacity smartphone more affordable for Verizon customers, but WireFly now comes with a more enticing offer.

Retailer WireFly is now offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 in a 32GB storage configuration for 219.99 with a new contract with Verizon Wireless and it throws in free shipping with FedEx as well. Samsung faced a backlash of criticism over its 16GB Galaxy S4, as the smartphone offered only 9GB of storage available to users.

After a firestorm of complaints from users, Samsung tried to make amends and came up with an update to allow users to move apps to the external SD card in order to free up some internal storage. Sprint, AT&T and Verizon already rolled out the update to their respective handsets. While that update fixed part of the issue, having more internal storage available from the start is always preferable for those who can afford the higher price tag.

Now that the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 in a 32GB storage configuration is no longer limited only to the carrier itself, more retailers are likely to offer this version as well. If WireFly is already on board, Amazon, Best Buy and others should follow suit soon enough.

In the meantime, the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 32GB is available for purchase from WireFly, sporting a more affordable price tag.
