Amazon has a new deal in place for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3, offering the phablet for $169.99 on a new two-year contract.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was one of the most highly-anticipated devices of 2013 and it has already proven to be a very popular device, although it just made its debut in October.
The new-generation Galaxy Note continues Samsung's push to blur the lines between a smartphone and a tablet. The company first tested these boundaries with its original Galaxy Note, which had a 5.2-inch display. While many thought at the time that such a big smartphone would not appeal to consumers, it has since become clear that phablets are a growing trend.
Samsung made the Galaxy Note 2 even bigger with a 5.5-inch display, and now the Galaxy Note 3 pushes the limit even further with a whopping 5.7-inch screen. The company already saw great sales of its new phablet and the holiday season is expected to attract even more buyers.
Amazon is now offering an attractive deal for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3, selling the phablet for just $169.99 when signing a new two-year contract with the carrier. This allows for great savings over the $299.99 Verizon is currently charging for the device online and in its retail stores.
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 boasts a massive 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a pixel density of 386 pixels per inch (ppi). It packs Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, Adreno 330 graphics and a hefty 3GB of RAM.
Other specs include 32GB of internal storage capacity expandable up to 64GB via microSD, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. In terms of connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. A powerful 3,200 mAh removable battery will keep things up and running.
To take advantage of this offer, head over to Amazon at this link. The device appears as "in stock" at the time of writing, with free two-day shipping.
