Rumors of a 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy Note Pro have been intensifying recently, and the device now seems to be headed to AT&T in the U.S.
Recent reports about the purported 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy Note Pro mentioned two versions with different model numbers: SM-T905 and SM-P905.
An image allegedly showing the back of the device has also made its way online recently courtesy of CDPKorea (via SamMobile), but nothing is confirmed at this point.
A new tip from the well-known @evleaks now indicates that the 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy Note Pro is headed to AT&T with model number SM-P907A. Evleaks has a great track record when it comes to leaking yet-to-be announced devices or plans in the tech world, and so far has proven to be accurate countless times.
Considering that AT&T was the first U.S. carrier to offer the Samsung Galaxy Note in the country, it seems plausible that it may be the first carrier to offer the Galaxy Note Pro as well. On the other hand, nothing is official so far and it is advisable to take all leaks and reports with a grain of salt, even if they come from trusted sources.
Based on rumors so far, the purported Samsung Galaxy Note Pro is expected to boast a large 12.2-inch display with a high resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The device is rumored to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor under the hood, or even the latest Snapdragon 805. Reports have also suggested that the Galaxy Note Pro would feature 3GB of RAM just like the Galaxy Note 3, but Samsung has just unveiled its latest memory chip that could bring 4GB of RAM to its 2014 high-end lineup. The Galaxy Note Pro is further expected to rock Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
While Samsung has yet to make an official announcement regarding its plans to launch a 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro, the tablet is expected to make its official debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014. The trade show will take place on Feb. 24 - 27 and Samsung is expected to unveil several products. Until official confirmation, however, take things with a healthy dose of skepticism.
