A 10.1-inch Samsung tablet with model number SM-T520 has been spotted on AnTuTu, boasting a high-resolution display and the very latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Samsung is reportedly working on a bunch of new devices set to hit the market soon, including new Galaxy Note Pro and Galaxy Tab slates of various sizes. A new 10.1-inch Samsung tablet has now leaked online and it looks like it will launch as part of the company's Galaxy Tab range, or its upcoming Note Pro lineup.
An intriguing listing on the AnTuTu website reveals that the purported 10.1-inch Galaxy tablet will boast an impressive display with a high resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The same listing also shows that the tablet will rock the very latest version of Google's popular mobile operating system, Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The slate may boast an Exynos 5420 processor under the hood, and AnTuTu also claims that a future software update may turn this chipset into a true octa-core SoC.
The tablet is further expected to pack 2GB of RAM to support the powerful processor and allow for fluid and smooth navigation. Other purported specs of this 10.1-inch Galaxy tablet include 32GB of internal storage capacity, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front shooter.
Samsung has yet to make an official announcement regarding its plans for launching new devices this year, but the company is expected to release several new products, including a 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro, a Galaxy Note 3 Lite, the next-generation Galaxy S5 smartphone, a new Grand Neo, and others.
Rumors have hinted towards the International CES 2014 or the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 as potential venues for Samsung's new product unveilings, but nothing is confirmed so far. The International CES trade show kicks off in just a couple of days, while the MWC is set to take place next month. Without official confirmation from Samsung, however, take these reports with a grain of salt for now.
If the company does plan to unveil new devices at CES or MWC, we should hear more about it soon enough. Stay tuned for more information as soon as it becomes available.
