Amazon has a great deal in place for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3, offering the phablet for just $192.49 on-contract.
The Galaxy Note 3 is Samsung's current flagship phablet and comes with plenty of high-end specs and features to make it worthy of the title. Top-notch devices, however, usually come with a price to match, and the Galaxy Note 3 costs $249.99 on-contract from Verizon.
The current flagship phablet from Samsung comes as the successor to the popular Galaxy Note 2, and sports some notable improvements. The Galaxy Note 3 comes with a slightly larger display at 5.7 inches and is both thinner and lighter than its predecessor.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also boasts some notable enhancements to its popular S Pen stylus functionality, adding some neat features such as Air Command, Screen Write, Action Memo, and more.
All generations of Galaxy Note phablets enjoyed great success, but the Galaxy Note 3 is the best-selling phablet in the lineup.
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sports a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a pixel density of 386 pixels per inch (ppi). The device is powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, paired with Adreno 330 graphics and a hefty 3GB of RAM.
Other specs include a high-end 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front shooter, and a large 3,200 mAh battery. The Galaxy Note 3 ships with 32GB of internal storage capacity and a microSD card support for additional memory. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. On the software side, the super-sized smartphone runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Samsung's TouchWiz Nature UX on top, but an upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat is expected to roll out soon. In terms of design, the Galaxy Note 3 features a new faux leather back plate that makes it look and feel more premium than other Samsung devices with plastic cases.
While Verizon Wireless is selling the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for $249.99 with new contracts, Amazon now has a far better deal in place. The retailer is offering the exact same device, but with a considerably lower $192.49 price tag when signing a new two-year contract with Verizon. To further sweeten the deal, Amazon is also throwing in free two-day shipping with the order.
