Samsung's latest Galaxy Tab Pro range of tablets have apparently gone up for pre-order in the UK already, with an actual release set for March.
Back at CES 2014, the company unveiled its new Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and three versions of its new Galaxy Tab Pro with different screen sizes: 8.4-inch, 10.1-inch, and 12.2-inch. The tablets are Samsung's latest and greatest, boasting high-resolution displays, top-notch specs and features and a focus on multitasking (especially the larger models).
According to a new report from The Inquirer, Samsung told the publication that all three variants of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro are now available for pre-order from its online store. For now, however, only the 8.4-inch and the 10.1-inch models seem to be available, with the 12.2 version currently MIA.
The smaller 8.4-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro Wi-Fi sports a £349 price tag, while the 10.1-inch Wi-Fi model goes up to £449. It remains unclear at this point just how much the larger 12.2-inch Galaxy Tab Pro will cost. The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Wi-Fi, for instance, recently went on sale for a hefty £649, and the 12.2 Tab Pro may be priced along those lines as well.
Samsung's online Experience Store notes that the Galaxy Tab 8.4 and 10.1 models will start shipping on March 4, and will hit retail stores two days later, on March 6. If you'd rather make your purchase from somewhere other than Samsung's own store, the company mentions that its new tablet line is also available for pre-order from Carphone Warehouse and Shop Direct in the UK, although neither of these stores currently show the tablets as available.
It's also worth noting that interested buyers who pre-order a Galaxy Tab Pro tablet from Samsung's online store will also receive a free 32GB microSD memory card for additional storage. This offer, of course, is subject to stock availability, as Samsung itself points out.
With the 8.4 and 10.1 Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro already available for pre-order in the UK, all that's missing now is the larger 12.2-inch Galaxy Tab Pro model, but it shouldn't be too long until it becomes available as well.
