The world was heartbroken upon learning the passing of one of the Hollywood legends, Carrie Fisher. While it's hard to think without her on new projects in the future, fans would still be able to linger her legacy with her success in the show business industry as a great actress.

According to Cinema Blend, Carrie Fisher's latest movie before she passed away is the "Star Wars: Episode VIII" reprising the role of Leia Organa, which she was able to completely film. She was also able to film her final TV performance, "Catastrophe."

"Catastrophe" is a British sitcom created by American comedian Rob Delaney and the United Kingdom superstar Sharon Horgan, which follows the story of the couple Rob and Sharon in an attempt to have a one night stand that turned into starting a new family. Carrie Fisher played the role of Rob's closed-minded mother, Mia, which was one of her best roles ever played in film or on TV.

Horgan shared a photo with Carrie Fisher last week confirming that the latter is indeed reprising her role for "Catastrophe" season 3 where Channel 4 and Amazon will offer streaming for non-UK viewers. Merman, the production company also shared a photo of the comedian David Cross with Fisher, which also confirms that Cross is also joining in the "Catastrophe" season 3.

As for "Star Wars: Episode VIII," fans are delighted to know that Carrie Fisher had filmed her scenes in the movie, which is set to hit theaters on Dec. 15, 2017, reports Daily Mail. While she was flying from London to Los Angeles, she suffered a cardiac arrest where the paramedics pulled her out from her flight upon landing and brought her to a hospital.

On Dec. 27, Fisher expired at the age of 60. A day after her death, her mother Debbie Reynolds suffered a stroke and passed away at the age of 84, which Todd Fisher, her brother said that the death of Carrie was too much for Reynolds.
