'The Flash' Season 3: First Look On The New Villain Plunder Plus The Return Of Gorilla Grodd

We're days away from the midseason premiere of "The Flash" Season 3 where new characters were added including the former Justice League member Gypsy. Aside from the god of speed Savitar, it seems like Barry Allen will be facing another villain that will threaten Central City.

Cinema Blend reports that a photo surfaced online revealing the latest villain on "The Flash" Season 3 named Plunder who is armed and dangerous. In the DC comics, Plunder's real name is Jared Morillo who is known to be and expert marksman skill and theft that will cause havoc and terror in Central City.

In the midseason premiere, Plunder, played by Stephen Huszar, is said to loot Central City. This might mean that Barry will have to set aside his quest to defeat Savitar. Of course, Cisco Ramon will be the one to name the villain, Jared Morillo, as Plunder.

Plunder's one notable trait is that he does not have any metahuman powers, similar to other non-metahuman that the Flash has encountered like Captain Cold and Heat Wave. Plunder was also a rival to Hunter Zolomon and a member of the Department of Metahuman Hostility where he'd help the Flash fight against the Rogues in the DC Comic Series.

Aside for Plunder creating chaos to Central City, another villain will be having his comeback revenge on the second half of season 3. The voice actor of Gorilla Grodd, David Sobolov confirmed on twitter that the enhanced intelligence silverback meta-gorilla will return for two episodes as "The Flash" will visit the Gorila City according to Comic Book.

Gorilla Grodd was banished to Earth 2's Gorilla City in season2. In the comic, he is often seen fighting with Solovar who his similar to him in terms of enhanced intelligence for control. "The Flash" Season 3 returns on Jan. 24, 2017, Tuesday on the CW Network
