Fans are already in despair knowing that Australian actor Hugh Jackman will be making his last movie as Wolverine. Many have fallen in love with the the actor's portrayal of the Marvel character. But as "Logan" hits theaters soon, Jackman will also retire as the loved character.

However, it may be that Hugh Jackman is hesitating to hang his claws away for good. According to an Interview with Variety, the actor claimed that he was hesitant.

"I'm hesitating," the actor says, "because I could totally see how that's the perfect fit. But the timing may
be wrong." Hugh Jackman said this after Ryan Reynolds has mentioned he hoped he could make a movie with the actor. Of course, this movie would be with Deadpool (Reynolds) and Wolverine.

"Deadpool" came out last February 2016 and was a huge box office hit despite it being Rated R. After Reynold's confession, fans began obsessing over the thought of a movie with the Merc with a Mouth and the clawed mutant. However, because of Hugh Jackman's pending retirement as Wolverine, the dream movie might only remain a dream.

Now, there are talks pertaining to a Deadpool appearance in "Logan." The stories that are circulating say that Ryan Reynolds will have a cameo for the last "Wolverine" flick. For fans, this may be the closest they can get to a team up between the two characters because both production and Reynolds have debunked speculations.

The retirement of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is inevitable. According to Comic Book, Jackman's age may complicate the character's seemingly immortal state.

"Logan" is directed by James Mangold and will star the Australian actor as Wolverine for the last time. The movie is set in the year 2024 when mutant births are rare. Logan, with his healing power greatly slowing down and an old Charles Xavier are the only ones remaining of X-Men.

Patrick Stewart returns as Charles Xavier alongside Boyd Holbrook, Dafne Keen, Doris Morgado and more. The movie is slated for release in March 3, 2017.
