"Transformers: The Last Knight" trailer has been released during Super Bowl last weekend. It was a short 30-second clip and Optimus Prime was not in it so fans were anxious and start to wonder what will happen in the latest movie sequel.

As it turn out, it was intentional that Optimus was not shown in the first trailer because when Director Michael Bay released the extended version of the teaser, the hero Transformer is there. The director was supposed to unveil the longer 50-second video later. But since someone already leaked it online, he has no choice but to just upload it on his YouTube channel.

"I'm not going to let you wait 'til Super Bowl. I have die-hard fans, some are very good at hacking," Bay wrote on his website. Since someone found it and hacked it I've decided to release the extended ad before the games. So you guys are the first to see it."

The longer "Transformers: The Last Knight" trailer video is action-packed and reveals impressive visual effects. It seems that the sequel will be about civil-war like battle, but this time it will be Transformers vs. humans.

According to Bay, the "Transformers: The Last Knight" shatters the core myths of the Transformers series and reinvents the meaning of being a hero. The war is now between the humans and the Transformers, and with Optimus Prime gone, saving the world now lies on the unexpected team-up of Bumblebee, Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), Oxford Professor played by Laura Haddock and an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins).

Meanwhile, Forbes reported that "Transformers: The Last Knight" will be Michael Bay's fifth and last Transformers movie. Although the title has more movie sequels planned out such as a sequel that will center on Bumblebee, Bay will not be directing it anymore and the next director has not been confirmed yet as of this time.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" will premiere worldwide in June.
