One of the most shocking scenes from "House of Cards" is during the season 2 premiere wherein Zoe Barnes, played by Kate Mara, was killed off by her lover Frank Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey. This shocking twist received a lot of reaction from fans of the show.

However, the show's official Twitter account recently shared a photo of the character that might suggest that she will be making a comeback in season five of the original series from Netflix.

The image above shows Zoe looking out of a car window and smiling while on her cellphone. Fans of the show immediately went into frenzy and started speculating the meaning behind the photo.

Some people believe that the show is hinting that the character isn't dead at all. One person tweeted, "Wait. What?! Thought she was dead as s#@t?!?!" Another fan shockingly tweeted, "Oh no. This can't be happening unless.. she as a twin sister?"

During the later episodes of season 4, Frank's health problems seem to be worsening. While his wife Claire, played by Robin Wright, has broken the fourth-wall for the first time in the series as she and Frank promised to make terror in America at the end of season 4.

The Netflix political drama recently released a teaser trailer for the upcoming season 5 that features children reciting the Pledge of Allegiance while the American flag is waiving in the background. The show's fifth season will premiere on May 30, 2017 on Netflix. Stay tuned for more updates!
