'Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi': Luke Skywalker Screen Time in the Film Leaked; Scenes in Planet Ahch-To Filmed in Ireland
Coco Dollanganger"Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" cast were seen filming the scenes in Ireland in 2016, which is set on the planet Ahch-To where powerful Jedi master Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) has been in self-imposed exile. The first shots of the planet Ahch-To were spotted in the concluding scene of The Force Awakens when Rey located Luke, giving back his lightsaber to him.
Following Luke's appearance in one scene without lines, many fans have high hopes to see more of him in "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi." Express reports that a "Star Wars" YouTuber Mike Zeroh has exposed a ‘close contact from Ireland' who has discovered how long the screen time would Luke appear and also provided some other leaks claiming that he also had some talks with some of the crew members who were with Hamil shooting scenes.
According to Mike Zeroh in his YouTube report, the source was able to discuss the estimated amount of screen time that Hamill would appear in the film where Luke will supposedly get in or about 35 percent of screen time in "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi." "That kind of sounds like what Han Solo got in The Force Awakens," he added.
There are also details leaked on three of Luke's scenes in the first "Star Wars 8" video trailer although "Star Wars" fans believe that the screen time would be taken with ‘a pinch of salt' since it's only being estimated. Nevertheless, everyone might just have to wait until "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" hits theaters on Dec. 15 in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, apart from Mark Hamill, the cast ensemble also includes Carrie Fisher, (who unfortunately has passed away before "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" hits cinemas) as General Leia Organa and Luke's twin sister, formerly the princess of Alderaan. Adam Driver also plays the role of Kylo Ren, Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron among others.
