The Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Edition announced last month has landed in the UK and is now available from mobile retailer Phones4U.

Samsung may have announced its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5, but the previous iteration is still in quite high demand. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has been very popular among Android fans and the revamped Black Edition has only made it more attractive.

Last year's Galaxy flagship smartphone from Samsung packs high-end specs and features all around, providing a top-notch smartphone experience. The Black Edition of the handset does not change anything in terms of hardware specifications or software features, but it does add a more premium look and feel.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Edition comes with the same faux leather black plate found on the company's Galaxy Note 3 phablet. The design has received high praise and most consumers find the faux leather finish to be more stylish and comfortable.

Samsung decided to offer this leathery design with its Galaxy S4 as well, and last month it announced the Black Edition of the handset. While the brand new Galaxy S5 features a plastic body with a band aid-like design, the Galaxy S4 Black Edition boasts an all-black classical look with premium faux-leather back.

UK retailer Phones4U is now offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Edition with a number of mobile carriers in the country, and interested customers can also choose from a variety of contracts. Prices start at £29 per month on-contract, but those who don't want to commit to any carrier agreement can also purchase the handset SIM free for £499.98.

As previously mentioned, besides the faux leather back and the black color scheme the Galaxy S4 remains unchanged compared to the original model. That means it sports the same 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the same powerful quad-core processor under the hood, and the same features.

If you're in the UK and you're looking to buy a stylish Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Edition, head over to Phones4U's website at this link to place your order or to learn more about the device.
