LG G3 official teaser page confirms May 27 launch (VIDEO)
Alexandra BurlacuAhead of the big LG G3 launch next week, the company has now put up a product page for the smartphone, teasing that it's "Coming Soon."
The LG G3 is one of the most highly-anticipated smartphones of this year and is expected to boast top-notch specs and features able to take on any rivals.
LG's UK website now shows a teaser page for the LG G3, complete with an intriguing video giving us a glimpse of what's about to come.
The next-generation LG G3 flagship was already expected to make its big debut at LG's event late this month, on May 27, and the new teaser video now officially confirms this launch date. After showing bits of the smartphone and touting its greatness, the video ends by highlighting the company's May 27 event in London, with the mention "LG invites you to the official unveiling of the LG G3."
In other words, if there was any doubt so far that the LG G3 would debut toward the end of this month, it is now clear that the flagship smartphone is ready to arrive on May 27.
Aside from this teaser and the model number LG-D855, the new product page doesn't reveal any other details. The product support page, meanwhile, gives up nothing for now.
The new LG G3 flagship smartphone is expected to be a real powerhouse, boasting a 5.5-inch display with a whopping QHD resolution and a pixel density of 534 pixels per inch (ppi). Under the hood, the handset will likely pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, if not the Snapdragon 805.
It's also worth pointing out that the FCC has just approved an LG device with model number D850, which is rumored to launch as the AT&T version of the LG G3 for the U.S.
Based on leaks and rumors so far, the LG G3 is expected to come in at least three color options - silver, black, and gold.
With May 27 just around the corner, we'll soon know all there is to know about the highly-anticipated LG G3 straight from the source. In the meantime, check out LG's official LG G3 teaser video below.
