AT&T HTC One M8 purchase comes with Fitbit One, Fitbit Flex at half price
Alexandra BurlacuAT&T has a special deal in place for customers looking to buy an HTC One M8, offering $50 off either a Fitbit One or a Fitbit Flex to go alon with it.
The HTC One M8 is one of the hottest, most powerful smartphones currently on the market, and it's already enjoying great demand. If you were thinking about buying the latest HTC flagship smartphone and would like a wearable gadget as well, AT&T's new offer may be just what you need.
By offering the Fitbit One or Fitbit Flex for $50 off when purchasing an HTC One M8, AT&T is basically cutting the price of both fitness trackers in half. In other words, this sounds like a pretty attractive deal even for those who are not very passionate about wearable fitness trackers.
"For anyone looking to get in shape as summer starts, AT&T has a deal that makes it more affordable than ever to keep track of what you're doing to stay healthy," the carrier touts in its announcement.
"Starting Friday, May 23rd, AT&T customers can save $50 off a Fitbit One Wireless Activity and Sleep Tracker or Fitbit Flex Wireless Activity and Sleep Wristband with the purchase of a HTC One (M8). In addition to this offer being available exclusively to AT&T customers, we are the only U.S. carrier with the Fitbit app pre-loaded on HTC One (M8)," AT&T further boasts.
For those unfamiliar with these wearable gadgets, the Fitbit Flex is an activity and sleep-tracking wristband that tracks steps, distances traveled, calories burned, as well as one's sleep quality at night. This gadget is available from AT&T in black and slate color options. The Fitbit One, meanwhile, easily clips to any piece of clothing, but is also small enough to fit comfortably in a pocket. It tracks the same stats as the Fitbit Flex, but adds floors climbed. The Fitbit One is available in black and burgundy color options.
The HTC One M8 integrates very well with the Fitbit gadgets, displaying your progress and achievements in a simple and convenient manner in BlinkFeed. HTC's latest flagship is not the only device compatible with the Fitbit wearables, but AT&T's new offer definitely makes it a good candidate. Without this discount, both the Fitbit Flex and the Fitbit One cost $99 each.
