Alexandra BurlacuThe LG G3 is finally official and it looks like a dream come true, as it boasts top-of-the-line specs and features that can take on any rival.
The new LG powerhouse was among the most highly-anticipated devices of this year and arrives as the company's most powerful smartphone to date. The handset rocks a stylish and durable metal casing, a stunning screen with an incredible resolution, a laser-precise camera for a superior photography experience, and much more.
LG G3 Specs
The new LG G3 boasts a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS display with a whopping resolution of 2560 x 1440, at a high pixel density of 538 pixels per inch. Under the hood, the smartphone packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, coupled with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage capacity, with a micro SD card slot for additional memory of up to 128GB.
Other specs of the powerful LG G3 include a 13-megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Laser Auto Focus, a 2.1-megapixel front shooter, and a large 3,000 mAh removable battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, LTE/ HSPA+ 21, Bluetooth Smart Ready (Apt-X), and NFC. On the software side, the LG G3 runs the very latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

The LG G3 was empowered with the best of what current technology has to offer, providing consumers with a user experience more ambitious than anything offered before by LG," touts the press release.
"The smartest innovation in a fast evolving smartphone market is creating harmony between advanced technology and a simplified user experience," added Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. "LG G3 is the result of our effort to actualize that idea into a tangible product. And we are extremely pleased with the result."
In addition to those top-notch hardware specifications, the new LG G3 also has a lot to offer in terms of software features, with Smart Keyboard, Smart Notice, and Smart Security as the highlights.
The LG G3 will start rolling out worldwide on over 170 carriers starting on May 28, launching first in South Korea. The smartphone will be available in five color options - Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet, and Burgundy Red. The company has yet to offer pricing details for the handset, but is expected to provide more information shortly.
