Alexandra BurlacuAT&T is expanding its LTE lineup with three new tablets - the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, and the ASUS PadFone X.
All three slates are now available from the carrier, giving AT&T customers more choices when it comes to purchasing an LTE-enabled tablet. Here's what each of them has to offer:
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1
As the name itself suggests, this is a 10-inch tablet, part of Samsung's fourth generation of Galaxy Tabs. It sports a 1280 x 800 resolution, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, and 1.5GB of RAM. Other specs include up to 16GB of internal storage capacity, microSD card slot for additional memory of up to 64GB, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
AT&T is offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 for $479.99 without a contract, and a hefty $379.99 with a two-year contract. Head over to the product page at this link for more details.
Samsung Note Pro 12.2
The Samsung Note Pro 12.2 is a real powerhouse, packing a large 12.2-inch display with a 2460 x 1600 resolution, a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, and 3GB of RAM. Other specs include up to 32GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot for additional memory of up to 64GB, a powerful 9,500 mAh battery, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
All that power doesn't come cheap, however, and AT&T is selling the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 for $899.99 off-contract, or $799.99 with a two-year service agreement. Head over to AT&T's website here for more information or to place your order.
ASUS PadFone X
Lastly, the ASUS PadFone X is just now making its debut on the U.S. market, hitting AT&T's network. The hybrid device consists of a smartphone/tablet combo, aiming to give users the best of both worlds. The smartphone has a 5-inch full HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, and up to 16GB of internal storage capacity, with microSD support for additional memory of up to 64GB. Slipping the phone into the dock will turn the device into a 9-inch tablet, offering a larger screen and extra battery juice. On the software side, the hybrid runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
AT&T is now taking pre-orders for the ASUS PadFone X, offering the device for $199.99 on a two-year contract or $595.92 with no ties. Find it here for more details or to place your order.
