Samsung Galaxy Note 4 pricing and availability details surface
Alexandra BurlacuSamsung unveiled its new-generation Galaxy Note 4 a couple of days ago and now some pricing and availability details have surfaced.
The company has yet to provide official details regarding when exactly the Galaxy Note 4 will hit retail and how much it will cost, but a few hints in this regards have nonetheless surfaced from the UK and the Netherlands.
When it comes to the device's commercial launch in the UK, for instance, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has already gone up for pre-order. The handset will be available from most carriers in the country, as well as notable retailers.
According to a new report from TechRadar, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will soon hit EE, Vodafone, Three, and O2, as well as Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse, but none of them has listed any pricing details for the handset just yet.
Unlocked Mobiles, meanwhile, is already taking pre-orders for the device and lists a £599.98 price tag including taxes, with stock due in early October.
At the same time, as GSMArena points out, a rumor surfacing from the Netherlands indicates that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 may cost around €795 - €799 and is expected to hit retail on Oct. 10.
As a reminder, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 made its official debut on Wednesday, Sept. 3, launching as the company's latest flagship phablet. The device boasts a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a QHD (2K) resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, at a whopping pixel density of 515 pixels per inch (ppi). Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 4 packs either a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor or a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5433, depending on region.
Other specs include a hefty 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage capacity, microSD card support for additional memory, a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), and a 3.7-megapixel front shooter. A large 3,220 mAh battery will keep things up and running, while Android 4.4.4 KitKat will rock the software side. In terms of features, highlights include the Ultra Power Saving mode, as well as a set of sensors such as a fingerprint reader and a heart rate sensor.
