Android 5.0 Lollipop is expected to hit several HTC devices and a newly-leaked roadmap now reveals which handsets will get it and when.

Google unveiled its last major Android update back in mid-October 2014, introducing Android 5.0 Lollipop. As always with new OS releases, the upgrade rollout is gradual and it takes a good while for it to spread to more Android devices.

HTC, for its part, has tried to be fairly transparent when it comes to its update plans, and promised to start rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop within 90 days of the original source code release. The company has indeed kept its word and has started rolling out the update to its flagship One M8. The One M7 is the next in line, but the company has yet to reveal when other handsets in its lineup will get the same treat.

A new leak now aims to shed some light on this matter, as an alleged roadmap details which HTC devices other than the One M8 and One M7 will get Android 5.0 Lollipop and when.

According to this alleged roadmap from Vietnamese publication HTCViet, the HTC One E8, Desire Eye, One M8 Eye, and HTC Butterfly 2 should receive an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop as soon as next month.

Next in line are the HTC One Max phablet, One M7 dual-SIM, Desire 816, Desire 820u, One M8 Mini, One E8 (China), and One M8 Eye (China), which should reportedly get the treat sometime in March.

The next batch includes the HTC Desire 610, Desire 820s, Desire 510, and the original HTC One Mini, which should all receive Android 5.0 Lollipop sometime in March or April at the latest.

This alleged roadmap falls in line with previous leaks regarding HTC's plans to update its device lineup to Android 5.0 Lollipop, but it's still no guarantee that the information is accurate.

Until HTC releases an official Android 5.0 Lollipop update timeline for various devices in its portfolio, it all remains in the rumor state. As always, take all leaks with a grain of salt until formal confirmation is available. We'll keep you up to date as soon as we learn more, so make sure to check back.
