LG G4 special promotion for early buyers includes neat freebies
Alexandra BurlacuAhead of the LG G4's official debut on April 28, the company is again doing some teasing. This time, LG announced a special promotion for early buyers.
The hotly-anticipated LG G4 flagship smartphone for 2015 is all set to make its formal debut in a little more than a week, on April 28, but LG has been busy teasing its new device ahead of the big unveiling.
After dropping hints regarding the smartphone's leather back (also seen in the image above), high-end camera, display, and user experience, LG has now announced (translated) a special promotion for early buyers who pre-order the new LG G4.
More specifically, LG will start offering the LG G4 in South Korea on launch day, i.e. April 28, and those who pre-order the smartphone by May 31 will receive a 64GB memory card for free, as well as a one-time LCD screen replacement up to one year since the date of purchase.
The LG G4 is one of the most hotly-anticipated devices of this year and it's expected to boast top-notch specs and features all around. Some reports indicated that the new-generation flagship will be radically different, but nothing is officially confirmed in this regards.
So far, the upcoming LG G4 is expected to rock a 5.5-inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which has already been unveiled, pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 or Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood, 3GB of RAM, and a 16-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 lens by LG Innotek, dual flash, optical image stabilization (OIS), and a slew of neat features including manual adjustments for white balance, ISO, and more. A 3,000 mAh battery will reportedly keep things up and running, while Android 5.0 Lollipop will handle the software side.
As previously mentioned, the next-generation LG G4 will feature a genuine leather back, but it remains unclear at this point whether it will be removable or not.
This special offer for LG G4 early buyers will likely be an exclusive to South Korea, and will be available on SK Telekom, KT, and LG Uplus.
With just a few short days before the LG G4 makes its official debut on April 28, excitement is now building up and we'll soon get the official scoop straight from the source. We'll keep you up to date as soon as more information becomes available, so stay tuned.
