The Motorola Nexus 6 made its debut back in mid-October 2014, launching with high-end specs and features all around. The handset served as one of the launch vehicles for Android 5.0 Lollipop and is also the very first phablet in Google's Nexus lineup, boasting a massive 6-inch display with a high QHD resolution.

Top-notch specs and features, however, also mean higher prices, and the Nexus 6 definitely launched with premium pricing compared to its predecessors. The Google Nexus 6 launched in the U.S. on AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular, with Verizon as the last one to join the party.

The smartphone comes in two configurations with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage capacity, and is also available for purchase unlocked via Google's own online store.

Many interested customers prefer to purchase the smartphone from a carrier, however, as various offers and subsidies make it more accessible than purchasing it unlocked from Google. T-Mobile's latest offer now makes the Nexus 6 more attractive and affordable, as the carrier is slashing $100 off the regular price tag of the handset for both the 32GB and the 64GB models.

This means that T-Mobile is now selling the 32GB Nexus 6 for $549.84, while the 64GB model now costs $599.76.

As a reminder, the Motorola-made Nexus 6 boasts a 6-inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels at a pixel density of 495 (ppi), and packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor under the hood, paired with Adreno 420 graphics and 3GB of RAM. Other specs include a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front shooter, and a large 3,220 mAh battery.

The much-touted Nexus experience, meanwhile, also means that the Nexus 6 will get timely updates whenever a new version of Android is ready to roll out, as Nexus devices are typically the first in line to get the latest software updates.
