Kickstarter has introduced another genius invention from one of its users. The Lumenati, by Scott McDonald, is supposed to be the "World's First Cinematic Smartcase."
The Lumenati CS1 is compatible for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s smartphones. The device utilizes the technological features of the latest iPhones and incorporate it with the ergonomic design of the camera case. At the same time, the design is easier to use because it has a handle and a manual camera focus that is very similar to what you can see on vintage cameras.
It is also very easy to set up. The user will just have to insert the iPhone into the Lumenati CS1 "just as grandpa would load an 8mm film cartridge," according to their Kickstarter page.
The lightweight devices also allow people to capture photos and films with a steady shot "with the pull of an intuitive trigger."
This iPhone case also has the WYSIWYG feature that captures bright light. This is a very unique feature because WSIWYG is not really available on smartphones yet. The Lenses can also be switched anytime.
According to the creators, they have partnered this design with the iPhone because the device already has an outstanding camera, but the ergonomics of the Lumenati CS1 case will make it easier to use. The Lumenati CS1 mostly attracts photography enthusiasts.
"That's where we come in. The CS1 enhances the iPhone camera by creating the ability to attach lenses for numerous different shots. Additionally, the CS1 enables the addition of filters, handles, microphones, and lights, which greatly enhance the overall quality of the filming experience. Place it onto a tripod for completely steady and beautiful video," according to McDonald.
In the meantime, other users prefer to just change the skin tone of their iPhones and utilize the original camera feature. For customizable iPhone cases, they can click here.
