Cricket Wireless Offers Big Holiday Sale
Mary Cris BalancioThe holiday season is almost upon us. Companies, whether big or small, can be seen offering deals and discounts. The latest to join the bandwagon is Cricket Wireless. The said carrier has slashed the prices on the majority of their smartphones, all for the holiday shopping season. The sale will be starting this Friday, Nov. 20 and will last until January 7, 2016. This sale encourages customers to literally go into the store and take home smartphones that are almost free.
Among the many smartphones going on sale at Cricket's are the Motorola Moto E, LG Risio, ZTE Overture 2, and the Nokia Lumia 635. The mentioned smartphone models, after a mail-in rebate that comes in a Visa gift card form end up literally free. Prior the mail-in rebate, customers will only need to pay about $20 USD to $50 USD at the time of purchase. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime only comes at $30 USD while LG G Stylo can be purchased at $50 USD.
There is one catch for these attractive offers that users have to take note of. To be able to purchase these phones, they have to qualify first to join the promo. How? The consumers must port their phone numbers to Cricket and activate a new number on a rate plan of $40 USD per month or higher. The customers must also make their second payment within 45 days of their signing up with Cricket.
Whether the catch is worth the promo or not depends on the users, it could be relatively cheap enough, but in the long run, will it be enough? Users should always think twice before making a purchase whether it is a gadget or new furniture, the sale will not be worth what it is if one spends more than they intended.
The ending months of the year usually commemorates with smartphone sellers and carriers competing aggressively against each other to gain new customers. For citizens mostly shopping enthusiasts; Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the holiday or gift giving season are particularly the important dates to remember for year-end sales. Cricket Wireless is a prepaid carrier owned by AT&T.
