Micromax Launches “Yu Yutopia” Their New-age Flagship Smartphone
Mary Cris BalancioMicromax has just launched a new flagship smartphone called the Yu Yotopia. The latest new age flagship from the Indian company is currently marketed by the company and some members of the public as the world's most powerful smartphone.
Yu Yutopia was launched this Thursday, Dec. 17 in India and comes with a 5.2 inch sharp WQHD IPS display. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and comes with a 4GB DDR4 RAM. The flagship phone is powered by a 3000 mAh battery. It sports a 21 megapixel rear camera and will also be featuring a fingerprint scanner wherein the users will be able to unlock their devices with one of the five fingerprints stored on the phone in less than half a second.
Micromax' new age smartphone also features an alert slider for a quicker access to the custom notification settings. The feature, which is unprecedented on an Android device, allows the user to silence the device with a simple click.
According to YU Televentures Founder Rahul Sharma, Yutopia is a revolutionary device that is packed with the "Around YU" services making it literally ahead of five years than any other mobile devices. Around YU is a new personal assistant that might compete with the likes of Apple's "Siri" and Microsoft's "Cortana" has an array of services that includes food, travel, and entertainment that is rolled into one window for consumers.
The service feature also provides a seamless experience which simplifies and saves time and effort when switching between a plethora of apps. YU has also an interesting "Assured Upgrade Programm" that can give any consumer who is buying the Yu Yutopia smartphone the option of having an assured upgrade to Yutopia 2 in the future.
The said hand held device that hosts new age features is currently priced at 24,999 INR. The pre-booking for the Micromax Yu Yotopia started on Amazon this Thursday beginning from two in the afternoon. The new age smartphones are set to start shipping out from Dec. 26 onwards.
