myHangover: The Brilliant Stand That Might Solve Your Not-So-Big Dilemna

One of the problems that users have nowadays is getting tired when holding their smartphones or tablets while in bed or even just sitting down on the sofa watching their favourite shows play on TV. This is one of the inspirations that led to the creation of the myHangover stands. While having smartphone and tablet stands is not a foreign concept in today's world, the way myHangover approaches it is different.

While most created stands just provide the now standard hand-free stand for a user's device, myHangover slightly approaches the stand category in a different light that is allowing a much easier and relaxing way of holding users' devices. The way this stand was designed enables users to enjoy relaxing with their handsets.

The design literally hangs the device over the user's heads when sitting and even while lying down. This is probably the answer to what most users have been looking for, a way to use their gadgets while relaxing in a resting position and while doing other things such as watching TV, video chatting or web browsing.

The goal of these recently designed stands is to help eliminate arm fatigue and strain, which one might encounter after a long period of viewing or using a smartphone or tablet. Holding devices has been proven medically to worsen posture and increase chances of developing neck strain. There is even a research study that proved that looking down to view smartphones can cause gradual strain on the spine, which eventually leads to early wear and tear, degeneration and possibly surgeries for worse cases.

With the myHangover stands, these issues are not only solved, but the stand itself is versatile enough that it makes it easier to use handheld devices in any position. The myHangover stand allows the device to stay in front of the user and can also be set up in a vertical standing position. It measures 46.4 inches tall while standing vertically and has a 24-inch arm reach while in the overhead position. It is compatible with all smartphones and devices that measure up to 10 inches.

The myHangover stands are currently available on a Kickstarter campaign at $59 USD for early backers. There are also several other options to choose from, so users can just visit their Kickstarter campaign to check the options available. The Kickstarter campaign started this January and is scheduled to end by March with a goal of $25,000 USD. So far, they already have 86 backers and have raised $11,598 USD at the time of this writing. The stands are expected to be shipped to their backers by May if all goes according to plan.
