Leaked Images Show New Huawei Flagship Device Having Dual Cameras

At the CES 2016 event that happened in Las Vegas, a lot of devices had been introduced to the public. Major tech and smartphone manufacturers all released their major products for this year. A lot of handheld devices and services were introduced and even sold at the end of the event.

One company that has been spending a big splash of money on new products is the Chinese smartphone maker Huawei. However, the public is disappointed to discover that it has not launched or announced any new flagship device.

No other news is made about a new smartphone, and the public is resigned to knowing that there aren't any new phones coming from Huawei anytime soon. This, however, seems to be stamped as leaked images show Huawei might be releasing a new smartphone, which it would call the P9.

Based on the images, Huawei P9 seems to sport a physical home button that is sure to house a fingerprint scanner like its predecessor. On the back of the device, it can be seen that it has a dual 12-megapixel camera setup that has a dual LED flash. There's also a sole speaker included at the bottom side of the phone with a 3.5mm headset jack near it.

It also appears that the newest smartphone from the Chinese tech company will have a pretty typical slate design with curved edges. The design could be seen as a very big jump from the standard design that Huawei employs on its devices, as was used on its 2015 device, the P8.

Along with the leaked images are reports that Huawei P9 will be coming with a 5.2-inch 1080p touch-screen display. It is also said to have Huawei's home-grown Kirin 950 64 bit octa-core processor and to be powered by a 3,000mAh battery. It is supposedly having a RAM of either 4GB or 6GB.

According to reports also, the latest flagship phone of the Chinese mobile manufacturer might become official by February and will be in stores by March. It is expected that the device will be named P9 Mini or P9 Max.
