How to Jailbreak iDevices Running iOS 9 [Video]
Staff ReporterApple's iOS 9.3.1has been released publicly for a while, we still have not heard any jailbreak news from Pangu team. If you have not upgraded your mobile system to iOS 9.2 and beyond, you still have the chance to enjoy hundreds of jailbreak tweaks.
The Pangu Jailbreak tool for Windows is upgraded to Version:1.3.1 , the tool for Mac is on Version:1.1.1. The Jailbreak tool is working on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5/5S/5C, iPhone 6/6 Plus/6S /6S Plus, iPad min/2/3/4, iPad/iPad Air/Air 2, and iPod Touch.
Preparations
--Make sure the device is running Apple iOS 9.1 and less
--Unable to jailbreak devices that are upgraded via OTA
--PC must also be running the latest Apple iTunes software
--Back-up everything [Launch iTunes -> select- photos, contacts and others -> Right Click on your device -> Select back-up]
--Visit Pangu Official Website to downlaod the Jailbreak tool
How to Jailbreak iOS 9.1
Step 1: Turn off both Passcode (& Touch ID) and Find My Phone options
[To switch-off Passcode (& Touch ID) go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode >Turn Passcode Off ]
To switch-off Find My Phone go to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone > Click to turn off.
Step 2: Come back to Settings menu and switch on 'Airplane mode'
Step 3: Download new Pangu iOS9.0-iOS 9.0.2 jailbreak code v1.2- HERE in to your PC
Step 4: Connect Apple iDevice (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) to the PC and launch Pangu 9 application software in the computer
Step 5: Select 'Start' to initiate jailbreaking procedure
Step 6: A pop-up window will appear on the computer and there you select 'Already backup' to continue with the procedure.
[Note: During the jailbreaking procedure, Pangu and WWDC icons will appear on the Apple iDevice. Then, the devices will re-boot and ask you unlock the phone and also ask to turn on the Airplane mode again. Once done, the process will continue to final stages of the jailbreaking procedure]
Step 7: Later, Pangu app will ask access to Photos app. The users are advised to grant the permission to go ahead
Step 8: Once permission is given, it will take few minutes for the app to finish the procedure with -'Jailbreak Complete' message and re-boots the device once again. The users can confirm the completion once the Cydia app appears on the home screen.
Suggestions after several failed attempts:
--Switch to the airplane mode, try again.
--Reboot both your iOS devices as well as your computer, and try again.
-- Use the restore functionality in Pangu to restore your device, and try again.
