Ahead Of OnePlus 3 Release Date On June 14, Company Drops All OnePlus Phones Prices By $50
Dheeraj RIn the company's latest bid to attract more customers, OnePlus has dropped the standard prices of all its devices by $50, just before the much-anticipated smartphone, OnePlus 3, hit the markets on June 14. The reports suggest that company is trying hard to increase its customer base, just before the launch of its latest flagship smartphone, OnePlus 3.
The Next Web reported that the recently announced price cut is aimed at providing a great customer experience. But, few reports suggest that the discount offers varies from market to market. It is reported that for the customers in the US market, the price cut deal is much more attractive than other regions.
There are reports that OnePlus is currently offering discounts on its OnePlus 2, OnePlus x and OnePlus One devices. Droid-Life reported that the price of the OnePlus 2 64 GB variant has been dropped from $349 to 299 in the US markets. Also, the price of OnePlus One is reported to be trending at $249 after the markdown, while the after-discount selling price of OnePlus X is reported to be $199.
Further, the company has gone even a step further to add-on to their marketing strategy. NDTV reported that the customers, who have recently bought the OnePlus One smartphone i.e. in the past 14 day's window, are eligible to avail the rebate from the ongoing discount offers.
Even though the recent discount offer is being seen as a marketing stint from OnePlus, one of its representatives cleared the air by saying that the company is trying to deplete its stock of other smartphones and make space for OnePlus 3.
With all the new about the ongoing discounts, there are reports that the upcoming OnePlus 3 flagship device will be packed with loads of exceptional features and is expected to be tagged as this year's value for money smartphone.
GMS Arena reported that the new OnePlus 3 phone will consist of two variants based on its storage capacity and RAM i.e. one variant will feature 32 GB and 4 GB RAM while another variant will feature 64 GB and 6 GB RAM. It is also reported that the upcoming smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch screen with Snapdragon 820 processor.
In addition, the latest update on the OnePlus 3 also suggests that the new device will be launched via a Virtual Space station event, which is again considered to be as one of the marketing gimmicks from OnePlus.
