Microsoft Surface Book 2 Release Date Delayed To 2017
Dheeraj RThe latest reports on the much-anticipated Microsoft Surface Book 2 suggest that the release date of the device has been delayed. Earlier, there were reports that the second-gen laptop will be released in October this year, but the recent update suggests that the Surface Book 2 will not be unveiled until early 2017. The reports have teased the possibility that the delay in the release date has been caused due to the design and specs issues.
Christian Times reported that the release date of the Microsoft Surface Book 2 has been majorly delayed as the technology giant needs more time to deliver the laptop with perfect specs like Thunderbolt 3 and 13.3-inch Ultra HD display. It is also reported that the Microsoft Surface Book 2 development team is currently experiencing some problems with the design of the much-anticipated laptop.
There are reports that the development team wants some more time to upload the exceptional features onto the laptop and thus the release date of the Microsoft Surface Book 2 has been pushed forward, reported IB Times. It is also said that the extra number of months required for the upcoming laptop would, in turn, help the company to improve the device's specifications to a great extent.
With all the release date news trending all over the internet, Ecumenical News reported that the upcoming Microsoft Surface Book 2 will consist of Intel's latest i5 and i7 core processors. There are also reports that the new second-gen laptop will feature a USB Type-C port with an 8-meapixel camera. The laptop is also expected to consist of Kaby Lake processor for improved overall device performance.
Besides, Mobi Picker reported that the new Microsoft Surface Book 2 will be equipped with 4K resolution display for providing the laptop users with crystal-clear images. Few reports also claim that the second-gen laptop will consist of high battery life i.e. around 11 hours of battery life capacity.
Further, the new laptop from Microsoft is also expected to consist of a chargeable Surface Pen, which will feature an LED for the notifications purpose. It is also reported that the laptop will feature an exceptional fingerprint sensor for added security.
The Microsoft Surface Book 2 is expected to be released sometime in Spring 2017.
