'Tom Clancy's The Division’: Ubisoft Investigates 'Conflict' 1.2 Patch Bugs

Jazz Rosin

When game developer Ubisoft announced the new patch update for its third-person shooter, 'Tom Clancy's The Division', the game company promised that it will improve the players' post game experienceHowever, it seems that it has brought more harm than good, with the patch update unleashing tons of game breaking bugs, including missing characters and High Value Target issues.

Polygon reported that a lot of players, including Polygon staff, encountered issues with stability and matchmaking in multiple game modes. The news site mentioned that they, along with other players, are having issues getting into the new Incursion, Clear Sky, with the raid resetting by itself and returning the players back to the start of the mission.

Some PC players have also complained that some of their characters have gone missing, and some have posted their concerns on the Ubisoft Forums and on Reddit. VG 24/7 reported that Ubisoft has restored some of the characters.

A High Value Target (HVT) bug, which allows players to repeatedly farm a boss by killing him and leaving the area before all the other enemies are killed, was discovered. (Ubisoft confirmed on the forums that a fix is ready for this issue.)

Another bug does not reset the daily HVT missions properly, due to the client not updating when the player is in game at the reset time. HVT's refused to unlock, and when they finally do, the boss is nowhere to be found. The bug is currently under investigation, however, as a quick fix, Ubisoft recommends restarting the game client after the reset timer.

A bug also causes the Search and Destroy mission boards not to appear on the map, and some players has also reported that the "Mark as Junk" function is not working for them. Both are still being investigated by Ubisoft.

Ubisoft has compiled a list of all the known bugs that came with the 1.2 Conflict update, ensuring players that the team is currently investigating on them.
