WWE 2K17 will be released this year, and speculations about the upcoming game's roster have been around the rumor mill for quite some time.
Update: WWE 2K17: Pre-Order Available Now and Gets to Play as Goldberg!
Reports have been made about the size of WWE 2K17's character roster, which is said to be comparatively smaller than last year's WWE game. WWE 2K16 featured an initial count of 120 characters and 150 DLC's, Game N Guide reports. However, WWE fans predict that the latest game would boast a bigger lineup, with some members on the IGN Forums speculating that more than 200 characters could be playable.
Confirmed Superstars
Most WWE Superstars took to Twitter to confirm that they will be making an appearance on WWE 2K17. Kenny King, Low Ki, and TJ Perkins have already said they're in. Kenny King posted a picture on his Twitter account wearing a 2K games mo-cap (motion capture) suit and posing next to a statue of Bioshock's Big Daddy.

Former TNA wrestler Manik, now known as TJ Perkins, has also posted a photo on his Instagram account, with fans noting that he is also wearing a mo-cap suit.
NXT Divas Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotee has also confirmed their appearance in the game, having skipped WWE 2K16.
Is Golberg Headlining WWE 2K17?
Bill Goldberg, or simply known as Goldberg, has been rumored to appear in WWE 2K17, despite having been retired since 2004. A WWE fan adressed the wrestler on Twitter, asking if he is in talks with 2K Games to be included in the current game roster. Goldberg answered with "I think I've heard a rumor..", which caused the rumor mill to go into overdrive. While it could mean anything, fans have speculated that Goldberg may make an appearance in the game. WWE head honcho Vince McMahon was also rumored to have considered getting Goldberg back intoWrestlemania 32 after numerous big stars being injured. Goldberg, however, did not make an appearance at Wrestlemania 32.
WWE Superstar Wishlist
Fans have been vocal with their WWE 2K17 roster choices, with a lot of roster predictions going around. AJ Styles is one of the favorites, as well as Austin Aries, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Asuka.
WWE 2K17 will be launched in October this year.
