Google Play Store Surprises Android Users With Uninstall Manager That 'Intelligently' Suggests Apps To Be Deleted
Eve CesistaGoogle Play store has innovated their application features by suggesting the old apps that can be deleted to save more space.
Android Police stated that they were caught off guard regarding this intelligent feature. "We don't know how long this has been live - Google could have just flicked the switch on it, or maybe others have seen it in the past as well. We can't be sure" the site wrote.
According to the website, the newest thing about Uninstall Manager could help the users by sorting out the applications or games that are least used, or is already outdated. It also shows the space that the unused apps are accumulating on the device.
However, the latest tweak doesn't suggest uploading files to Google Drive, Photos, or Play Music. Basically, this tool is most helpful for those who have not much storage space on their gadgets.
How does it work? The Next Web revealed that a prompt will pop up if the device is running out of memory space. Still cannot get enough example? Here is one from Slashgear:
Snapchat has become one of the most popular application among Android users. However, not all are still hyped about using it for some reasons.
If the Snapchat app is left unused as time goes by, and if the user is about to use all the space with new photos, videos, songs, and applications, a prompt will appear on the device and would suggest erasing some apps like the unused Snapchat.
But lastly, 9to5 Google noted that the Uninstall Manager cannot be switched off so users may want to get used to it. On a lighter note, deleting apps and files will now be easier and more convenient because the latest app is now doing half of the work.
