It has been reported that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be released in Japan this year and will exclusively be available on PlayStation 4.
The game will be officially launched in December 2016, and fans are expecting that the game will also be available worldwide like its predecessor. However, the game is said to only be available for PC and Xbox One players outside Japan, reported Ecumenical News.
Bandai Namco Entertainment has already prepared for the game's launching while, players in North America and Europe have been anticipating on when will be the official release date for their location.
Fans were speculating that the company will follow the same pattern as how the first title was released in 2015. Some players were expecting that the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be available in North America three weeks after distributing it in Japan and will take 22 days to launch in Europe, according to iTech Post.
While the game's description hasn't released yet, it's already rumored to have the same features, gameplay and design as the first installment. Thus, gamers will take on the role as Time Patrollers with a mission to save the "Dragon Ball" history in both online and offline modes.
It was reported that the game will also feature more characters, a new city environment, and customization settings in a goal to make it more interactive.
On the other hand, the voice actor behind Goku, Sean Schemmel, shared a bit of information on a possible DLC and said, "I think we're gonna do some DLC or maybe another 'Xenoverse' game. I wouldn't be surprised," reported by Christian Daily.
"'Xenoverse' was so successful, the publishing company would be stupid not to make another one just for the sake of the money," he added.
Furthermore, Schemmel also revealed that he spoke with "Dragon Ball Z" ADR director, Chris Sabat who is currently working on another game that is set to be released soon.
Although, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" received several speculations and rumors all over the Internet, fans have to wait for Bandai Namco's official statement.
