'Gran Turismo Sport' Update: New Trailer and Features Revealed Before E3

Sony and Polyphony Digital have recently revealed the new trailer for the racing simulation game, "Gran Turismo Sport", ahead of its official showcase at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3.

Writing on the PlayStation Blog, Sony Interactive Entertainment America's Product Manager Ken Chan talked about some of the new features fans should look out for once the game is released, including Livery Editor, Social Features, Live Broadcast and Photo Scapes modes.

Chan also said that "Gran Turismo Sport" will enable gamers to compete in online championships sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). Fulfilling various requirements in-game can also gain players a digital license from FIA, which will hold the same value as a real life license in 22 participating countries, including Mexico, Australia, United Kingdom, India, and the Philippines.

Chan is also happy to answer some of the commenters' inquiries on the blog. The product manager said that there will be plenty of offline modes available on "Gran Turismo Sport", such as the classic Arcade and Campaign modes.

"GT Sport" will also feature 19 tracks and 27 layouts, according to the official "Gran Turismo" website. The game includes the iconic "Tokyo Expressway" and the half-mile oval "Northern Isle Speedway".

Chan also commented that the trailer showed the newer features of the game, and there will be plenty of new info to be released soon. Sony is probably gearing up for its E3 appearance in a few days.

CEO of Polyphony Digital and creator of "Grand Turismo" Kazunori Yamauchi will be present at the popular trade show to show off its latest game. More gameplay will be shown during the event and will be available through live stream on the PlayStation Livecast.

"Gran Turismo" fans who will attend E3 will also have the chance to experience the game themselves, as they can stop by the PlayStation booth to play the demo of "Gran Turismo Sport".

"Gran Turismo Sport" will be launched on the PlayStation 4 on November 15.
