Furthermore, a new mode in the game will be introduced called Toad Scramble, wherein players will work together with Mario to overcome mini-game events and eventually defeat the boss.

"Mario Party: Star Rush" gameplay features a villain boss present in every world that players will encounter as the game progress. They should cooperate and inspirit teamwork in this multi-player mode to achieve success, reported by GameSpot.

Meanwhile, Nintendo 3DS users may access the multiplayer mode through Download Play or Local Wireless. The company also revealed that the new "Mario" game installment was equipped with multi-card communication compatibility.

During the E3 2016 event, it was announced that Waluigi, Rosalina, Donkey Kong, Wario, Daisy, Boo and Diddy Kong can be purchased on the release date. Also, seven various amiibo types and figurines will be compatible with the game, according to Polygon.

On the other hand, the latest addition to the series followed its 3DS predecessor game titled "Mario Party: Island Tour" which was launched in 2013. While in 2015, "Mario Party 10" was introduced for Wii U platform.

Nintendo shared a glimpse of its gameplay through a trailer so that players will have a visual idea on how the new game will work.
