Amid the fact that "Fifty Shades Darker" is finally done filming in Canada, some rumors about the possibility of Zac Efron replacing Jamie Dornan as lead character Christian Grey have been making headlines.

Could there be truth to these speculations? Is he joining the cast when they fly to their next location after Vancouver?

While some think that the change of actor would happen in the second installment of the movie-adaptation of E.L. James' novels, Game N Guide reported that he is actually joining the cast of "Fifty Shades Freed," the third and the last installment.

The digital media site further noted that such talks came up when "Fifty Shades Darker" star Jamie Dornan was allegedly fired "after regularly causing production delays." Thus, the entry of Zac Efron reportedly became necessary.

Accordingly, the 34-year-old actor's wife Amelia Warner badly needs him as she is allegedly experiencing post-partum depression following her delivery of their second child in April.

Meanwhile, the report dished that the rumored new Mr. Grey has allegedly started filming for his role in "Fifty Shades Freed."

Should the rumors on Zac Efron joining the erotic love story after "Fifty Shades darker" be proven true, would he be a better replacement especially that he reportedly declared in the past that he is willing to go full frontal?

Despite these rumors, the report pointed out that everything must be taken with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed yet.

In the meantime, the author behind the successful books of the "Fifty Shades" film series, E. L. James, gave a glimpse of the Red Room where sex scenes were filmed last June 29 and July 6, according to Melty

In her Instagram account, the British novelist shared several snaps of the widely-talked about "Fifty Shades Darker" room. Will this be used by Zac Efron should he become Dakota Johnson's new leading man?
