Xbox Backwards Compatibility Wishlist: 'Rise of the Tomb Raider,' 'GTA IV,' 'Call of Duty,' More
Jazz RosinThe Xbox fanbase continue to get more of their favorite games included on the growing backwards compatibility list for the Xbox One. Of course, some fans are never satisfied. Here's what many would want to see on that list.
A Lot of "Call of Duty"
Despite the franchise's current-gen titles getting a lot of hate from the fanbase, it seems like a lot of gamers want to play the "Call of Duty" Xbox 360 titles on the Xbox One.
The top "Call of Duty" game voted by the fans is 2012 title "Call of Duty: Black Ops II," currently sitting comfortably on the number two spot.
Apart from "Black Ops II," COD fans also want "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2," "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare," Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3," "Call of Duty: World at War" to be included in Microsoft's Xbox Backwards Compatibility List.
"Rise of The Tomb Raider"
Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics' "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is currently the most requested backwards compatible title on the list.
Although it is known that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" was also released on the Xbox One, players would want to experience the game on Xbox One using the same Xbox 360 copy, rather than running out to buy an Xbox One port.
"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"
On the top five of the list is Bethesda's "Skyrim," and the title has been sitting on the top five spot for a long time now.
Despite the announcement of the remastered version for "Skyrim," players would still want to have this as a backwards compatible title. The reason for some is because they don't want to start a new game again and would want to just transfer their progress to the current-gen console.
Due to the recent announcement, however, this may no longer be a possibility, some speculated.
"Grand Theft Auto IV"
With "Red Dead Redemption" recently added on the list, it is now very likely that "Grand Theft Auto" will follow suit.
Fans have previously speculated that Rockstar Games are not participating in the Backwards Compatibility scheme, so it came as a huge surprise when "Red Dead Redemption" is released.
