It is on the books, Microsoft will unveil the Project Scorpio in the next few weeks with the "Forza Motorsport 7." Various reports from reliable sources have confirmed the news.

Stunning True 4K Resolution

In a post by Windows Central, the next console will run "Forza" at True 4K resolution. In the same post, reliable sources have stated that the game already looks visually stunning. Moreover, the game will showcase Project Scorpio's full gaming potential.

Luckily, the folks at Windows Central was able to see the marketing materials for the console. Microsoft wants to emphasize the Scorpio's six-teraflop GPU prowess and its True-4K capabilities.

To do that, the company will showcase graphic heavy games... Including "Forza Motorsport 7," "Crackdown 3," and "State of Decay 2." Other games included in the material are "Call of Duty," "FIFA," "Battle Front 2," and 'Red Dead Redemption 2."

Allegedly, Project Scorpio will also have a big library of 4K games out of the box aside from the mentioned ones. Xbox One games that use dynamic 900p to 1080p resolution can scale up to 4K on Microsoft's new console. To shrug off accusations of being "Xbox One.5," Microsoft is really serious about promoting True 4K resolution.

Xbox Scorpio Unveiling This Week?

According to a known tipster, the guys at Microsoft are busy with the upcoming launch. Twitter user shinobi602 has shared that Microsoft's next console has "impressive" hardware. He also expects the company to unveil Project Scorpio in the following weeks.

Although the tweet coincided with the April Fools day, he was quick to reiterate that he does not do April Fools. Nintendo's Switch release might have pressured Microsoft to do its own console launch.

Microsoft has not released its official statement on the matter. Project Scorpio will be out soon to counter the Nintendo Switch's immense popularity. Stay tuned for more updates.
