Still No iOS 9.3.2 Jailbreak? Here's How To Get Your Device Jailbroken
Carlo de LacyRumors about the iOS 9.3.2 Jailbreak is everywhere, but users are getting nowhere near any clue as to when it is going to happen. The iOS 9.3.3 update may open up the possibility of a jailbreak, but nobody can tell for sure. Users, however, may still have a workaround with it.
Users with older devices like the earlier generations of iPad and iPhones still have a chance to enjoy the perks of having a jailbroken device. Unfortunately, this may seem to be the case with newer models with iOS 9.3.2 installed straight out-of-the box.
Still, users aren't exactly at a dead end with a basic iDevice without the coolness of Cydia and its power-user oriented apps. Jailbreak is still possible.
The best approach to this is thru downgrading from 9.3.2 or later version to 9.3.1 or earlier. This works for iPhone, iPad or iPad devices which are upgraded to 9.3.2 or came with it by default.
IPhone Hacks' guide is relatively safe at some point, but going through the process requires basic know-how. It is not advisable for users who rely in one-click jailbreak solutions.
The first step is downloading the iOS firmware for either iPhone, iPad, or iPod. This depends on which device you wish to tinker with. It is highly suggested in the guide to use either Firefox or Chrome to avoid problems.
Next step is done by putting the device into DFU mode. To do this, plug the device to a computer and turn it off. Holding the power button for 10 seconds after doing this will have the computer detect the device and start recovery mode.
Clicking the OK button proceeds to a screen that will prompt you to Restore the device. Simply clicking it will restore the device back to the latest version. The trick is to hold Alt for Windows and Option for Mac while clicking it.
This will let you choose a preferred firmware to restore into. Simply browse to the directory that the iOS 9.3.1 firmware was downloaded. The file should have a IPSW extension.
Following the instructions after this step would be easy as clicking the next buttons.
Once successfully downgraded to iOS 9.3.1, you can now Jailbreak your devices by following the instructions at Redmondpie.com
Voilà! Your iDevice is Jailbroken.
