Cheat 'Pokémon Go' And Don't Get Banned; Do It While It Still Works!
C. de LacyCatching all pokémon in "Pokémon Go" takes some serious business. It involves huge amounts of time, dedication, and sometimes, even money. Good thing, there's a working cheat that will not get players into trouble and end up being banned. For now, that is.
Dallas Thomas, one of the brainy folks from WonderHowTo, made a post just a few days ago about a guide on cheating "Pokémon Go" while not risking players into getting in the developers' ban list.
Given the game's nature, " Pokémon Go" hunting is largely based off specific locations. This limits some players to getting to catch each and every pokémon as the game's catchphrase highly encourages.
Methods like spoofing GPS locations were already detected by Niantic. This is actually done by going over the mock-location method. Fortunately for those who have no choice but to resort to "cheating," here is Brandon Nalls' Xposed Module.
This requires the following to work:
- Rooted Android Device
- Xposed Framework
- Developers Options enabled
- Unknown Sources enabled
- Android 5.0 or later
If players meet these requirements, "Pokémon Go" cheating is a go.
Installing the Xposed Module called "Mock Mock Location" should be the first step here. Simply download and install the module as instructed in the link. Activate and reboot afterwards.
Once completely restarted, go to Settings and then on Location menu. Set the mode to "Device only." This is to ensure that the only location, the game will fetch data from, will be your device only and not from Wi-Fi or cell network
The next step involves installing a GPS-Spoofing app, which is clearly detailed in one of WonderHowTo's guides here.
After all, these have been taken cared of, all that is left to do is run the GPS-Spoofing app to jump from location to location without actually making a single step. It is highly suggested that players clear " Pokémon Go" off from the recent apps.
While this trick allows players to move freely, it is also highly advisable to make the "move" look as much as humanly possible. Jumping from one place to another at abnormally high speeds can cause soft bans.
With these, moving just a few miles from time to time makes it appear that the player is actual "there."
There's no guarantee until when this will work, but if it works, make the most out of it!
